The Rock have been looking at a series of Sharing the Good News and how Paul did that in the Book of Acts.
Last Sunday (31st January) all the Rock groups were looking at the story of Paul and the storm and the shipwreck (Acts 27-28) and how we need to try to have total trust in God whatever storm there may be.
All the groups had a great time exploring and learning more about this story together in such fun and creative ways!
Mini Scramblers got to play out the story themselves using a water and playmobil – and getting a little wet at the same time!
Maxis Scramblers also acted out their own story, and even build their own boat!!!
Climbers had an awesome food craft – green/blue jelly as the sea, and then they made their own boats out of oranges and apple pieces!!
Explorers played an exciting game of human battleships to get into the theme of the story, and then read the story together following Paul’s journey on the map they had created together.
I am so thankful for all our wonderful Rock Leaders and helpers who plan and create such wonderful and engaging session for our children here at Christ Church. To help make church a place the children love to be – to have fun, to feel loved and to learn more about how great God is.
Hope you’ve had a good weekend.
God Bless, Holly.
