YPF
YPF is a community of people age 14-18 who meet every Wednesday. At YPF we alternate between meeting together at the Junction and meeting in smaller group in each other’s homes.
Many of the young people from YPF also serve in areas of church life, such as in FFF on a Friday night, The Rock on Sunday mornings, and in church services playing instruments or on the PA and Visuals desk. A couple of older youth have begun volunteering with the younger youth as well. What a privilege it is to see the young people of our church committed to giving back to the church out of their own time, energy and resources.
Last February, 10 members of YPF attended the ONEL!FE Young Leaders Conferences held at St. Andrews, Chorleywood. These young leaders of our church feel a call to be influencers and leaders in many different areas of society, some of them are even leading already in School Christian Unions, sports teams, music groups and many other areas. We all came away changed and inspired after hearing God speak in so many different contexts and by seeing God at work in each person who came. Needless to say, this February we’re going again!
Monthly, YPF are invited to attend the Saturday Soul Survivor celebrations in Watford. There, we join hundreds of other young people to worship and learn from the Scripture. Occasionally we stop off at MacDonald’s on the way home! YPF also have social events which range from quasar to bbq’s. We go away on holiday together each year; in recent years we have been going to Soul Surivor together. It is a great chance to bond and grow as group
YPF @ The Junction
We meet all together in The Junction every other week to spend time encouraging and teaching one another. We do this through sung worship, prayer and Bible teaching as well as playing games and spending time catching up. Recently we have spent time quietly reflecting on a Bible passage and asking God to challenge & guide us through his Word. After 20 minutes in quiet reflection, we gather in groups to share our thoughts and reflections, and to pray together.
If you are interested in coming along why not get in touch with Fiona, the youth minister, who will be happy to give you a lift so that you don’t have to walk into your first meeting alone.

YPF in Life Groups
YPF have 4 life groups which enable us to facilitate real community, discipleship and leadership in the young people and to give each of our young people the chance to use and express the gifts that God has given them in a setting where they are known well and know others.
