Pastoral Care

Hello, my role is to co-ordinate the Pastoral Care here at church as we seek to live out our mission statement ‘God’s love, know it, show it, share it and declare it.  My work is very much one of co-ordinating as well as caring and I enjoy serving with people across the church community who give of their time and talents to show pastoral care and practical love in different situations.  That might mean cooking for the Parish Freezer, doing some gardening, helping with respite care,  giving lifts to hospital, visiting an elderly person, collecting shopping, visiting the bereaved, babysitting or not least having a cup of coffee with someone and listening and so the list could go on ….!  This is my seventh year here and it is an absolute joy and privilege to being doing a job I love, serving others with my church family. ‘
