Illuminate

Illuminate is our discipleship group for all those in school year 4 and 5. We meet every Monday from 4:30 - 6pm at Christ Church.  This is a wonderful opportunity for children to go deeper in their knowledge and love of Jesus.  Illuminate provides the opportunity for them to think through their faith and to ask any questions.  We have loads of fun together exploring the BIble as well as playing games, praying, worshipping and being creative.  If you are in Year 4 or 5 then we would love you to come and join us on a Monday afternoon.
There are also Illuminate Socials.  We love watching films in the church and eating loads of pizza, as well as socials off site like bowling.

Once a year during the Easter holidays we also have Illuminate Time Out.  Time Out is where we go away over night and have the opportunity to take time out of our every day lives and every day surrounding.  It is time out to spend with God, time out with our friends, time out for fun and time out to grow in our faith. 

Illuminate Time Out 2012

We had a brilliant time on Illuminate Time Out this year.  We spent two days looking at how we are God’s children and that means we are transformed to be used by him.  We had a brilliant time learning from him and having fun together.  Our theme was the Lion King and we even had to hunt animals on the common!  We went down to the river Chess to sail boats too.  A totally fab couple of days!
