Impact Youth Ministry exist to share the way of Jesus with our friends and family, to show them His love and to grow passionate followers of God who seek to worship Him with their whole lives.
Dear friends and family of Impact Youth,
Last week one of our amazing teenagers, John Cutting, joined the church for a work experience. I asked him to share a few thoughts for out latest blog post.
Some of you may know that I’ve been doing a weeks work experience this past week at Christ Church. I’ve done loads of great things throughout the week here, from helping with the youth ministry, YPF, Going Deeper, Toddlers and Rock Solid, to helping with expenses and making survival lists for the leaders going to Soul Survivor this year!
All in all, it’s been a really great week, but one of the things I’ve learned the most, is how much of a community we all are together! Of course, I knew this anyway, but being here for a whole week and seeing everything behind the scenes, everyone is just as happy as they are when Church is on or when YPF and Going deeper etc. is running. Everyone from all ages has been so happy, kind and caring all through week, ans I just want to say thank you to everyone that has worked with me! I really think it shows how much of a great place Church is!
I think the verse in Hebrews 10: 24-25 really has meaning about community’s at church. ‘And let us consider how we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another- and all the more as you see the Day approaching.’ To me, this verse has real meaning for us, as this is how we should be, are, and how we always will be!
So I hope everyone has a great week, and a great holiday for those are are/ will soon be out of school for the freedom of summer!
