Wonder what we’re all about?
Impact Youth Ministry exist to share the way of Jesus with our friends and family, to show them His love and to grow passionate followers of God who seek to worship Him with their whole lives.
This term we’ve had three new interns join our team, and they are absolutely brilliant. If you’ve not had a chance to meet them yet, here’s a little introduction piece about each them.
Hi! I am Amie and I’m one of the new interns at the church for the year. I have just graduated from Moorlands Bible College with a degree in Applied Theology and Youth and Community Work. I’m so excited that God called me here to this church to explore more about what it means to be a youth worker and work for a church. I have a real passion for young people and also worship, especially seeing young people grow within this and using their gifts to worship our incredible God! I’ve also loved how welcome you have made me since I started here and I look forward to getting to know you all over the next year!
Hello all, I am Melissa one of the new interns this year. I am 22 years old and from Buckinghamshire, but have spent the last year travelling around the world. Although home for me isn’t far away I hadn’t heard of Christ Church before coming here, but feel privileged that God has called me here and have really enjoyed my first few weeks. I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for being so friendly and welcoming. I have loved getting to know you all and I am managing to remember more names every day. I am excited to see what God has in store for this year!
Hi everyone, I am Bri. Home for me is Perth in Australia but I moved to the UK 9 months ago when I started as a nanny for a family in Croxley Green. I finished high school about a year ago and set off for this new adventure and life in the UK. It’s a very exciting time to be seeing what God has placed on my heart and I am absolutely thrilled to have joined the Christ Church family. It has been so much fun to be involved in the programmes that you support here at Christ Church and I am so thankful for this opportunity to be a part of it. Can’t wait to see what God has in store for the year!
