Impact Youth Ministry exist to share the way of Jesus with our friends and family, to show them His love and to grow passionate followers of God who seek to worship Him with their whole lives.
Dear friends and family of Impact Youth,
At the moment I’m living a little way outside of Chorleywood and commuting in by car each day. This has it’s downsides, but it also done me some good over the last few months too. The biggest positive it has brought has been, surprisingly, the hours I spend sat in traffic each week on my morning journey over to church. Listening to radio 1 every morning began to feel like a colossal waist of time, so I started listening to sermons and talks instead and it’s becoming one of the most rewarding parts of day.
Over the next few weeks I wanted to share with you a series of talks I’ve been listening to by Bill Hybels who is one of the pastors of a large church in the US called Willow Creek. Its called ‘Simplify’ and Bill wrote this series after hearing of far too many people in his church come to him saying they were Overwhelmed, Overscheduled, and Exhausted. I hear words similar to these around Christ Church all the time, so I wondered if you wanted to join me in listening through and exploring this series of super practical talks. The first one is in the link below:
