IMPACT YOUTH this week (Monday 14th December)

Wonder what we’re all about?

Impact Youth Ministry exist to share the way of Jesus with our friends and family, to show them His love and to grow passionate followers of God who seek to worship Him with their whole lives.

Hello friends,

We are definitely knee deep into the Christmas season! This Sunday saw the first of our Christmas services with the Christingle celebration in the morning, and then the Christmas With A Twist Service in the evening at which two of our young people, Nathaniel Warren and Dan Chapman spoke.

Sunday evening I had the privilege of being sat in the front row when Natty and Dan stood up in front of a packed church and brought us into something of the depth of what Christmas means to them.

What was even more of a privilege was watching everything that happened in the weeks leading up to it. All of the prayers and the hours put into planning, writing, and practising. All because these two young men didn’t just want to give a ‘good talk’, they wanted to say something that pointed people towards the God they know and love. Those two genuine God focused hearts behind the talks was the most incredible thing about that evening for me.

That hidden message behind their talk is perhaps just as much of a challenge for us all as what they said that evening. How can we use the gifts God has given us to point people towards Him?

As always, if there is anything our team can pray about for you, do get in touch.

Take care,

Simon
