IMPACT Youth this week (8th to 14th of May)

DH on kartWonder what we’re all about?

Impact Youth Ministry exist to share the way of Jesus with our friends and family, to show them His love and to grow passionate followers of God who seek to worship Him with their whole lives.

Hello all,

Rather than me writing a letter to you this week, have a read of this letter written by Peter, one of Jesus’ disciples, written to a wide group of Christians about 20 years after Jesus’ resurrection. A letter like this is in the bible because it wasn’t just addressed to those Christians, it’s also addressed to us. So why not have a read, knowing these words were addressed to you too.

All of you, clothe yourselves with humility towards one another, because,

‘God opposes the proud
but shows favour to the humble.’

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

10 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. 11 To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.  1 Peter 5: 5-11

Take care,
