IMPACT Youth this week (19th September 2016)

dsc_0423-editWonder what we’re all about?

Impact Youth Ministry exist to share the way of Jesus with our friends and family, to show them His love and to grow passionate followers of God who seek to worship Him with their whole lives.

Dear friends and family of Impact Youth,

As we start off our new term, I’m delighted to introduce our new intern team for 2016-2017! Izzy, Charles, and Pippa. I asked each of them to write a brief introduction with I’ve included below. If you see them around please do say hello, they are a brilliant and friendly team.

Take care,

izzy-webHi – Izzy here!

I am super excited to be starting the next chapter of my life here at Christ Church as a children and youth intern, following the past two years at sixth form up in Nottingham!
For many years now I have felt that God has placed a call for young people on my heart, so this year it will be great to see where He leads me within that…bring it on!

dsc_0723Hi, my name is Charles

I’m one of the new interns. This summer I left university
after spending a brilliant three years at Keele studying English. I had the great opportunity of being on the CU committee for two years where we ran many events reaching out to other students with the Good News.

I found out about this internship on Google, (where else?) after pushing a few doors as to how to spend this year. I hope that God will use me to impact the
amazing youth and children and I’ll learn a lot serving with you all!

pippa-webHi! I’m Pippa

I am so excited to be joining the team here at Christ Church. I have just graduated from Loughborough University after studying English and Drama. It was at Loughborough University that I came to know Jesus and gave my life to Him and following this I have felt a very strong call on my life into youth work. I cannot wait to get stuck in and see how God and Christ Church will teach and guide me over this year!
