IMPACT Youth this week (Monday 23rd of May 2016)

Wonder what we’re all about?

Impact Youth Ministry exist to share the way of Jesus with our friends and family, to show them His love and to grow passionate followers of God who seek to worship Him with their whole lives.

Dear friends and family of Impact Youth,

Sorry for the lack of email last week, I had the privilege of joining the year 6 class from Christ Church School on there holiday to an activity centre in Devon called ‘Skurn Lodge’. It was a brilliant week and exhausting for all the right reasons. Lots of time spent getting to know the group better and join in as they learnt how to surf, climb, and abseil.

I also got the chance to teach them about community from some bible stories in the evening by looking at different hero’s from the bible. On one of these evenings, each child was given a booklet with their name on it we spent some time in the evenings writing down in each others books, the hero’s we saw in each other. Watching the faces of those children when they first read all of the positives other peoples saw in them was such a reminder of how important it is to encourage those around us.

1 Thessalonians 5 verse 11 reminds with a straight forward statement: “Encourage one another and build one another up.”

Is there anyone who could use some of your encouragement today?

Take care,

Simon Tulett
