Impact Youth Ministry exist to share the way of Jesus with our friends and family, to show them His love and to grow passionate followers of God who seek to worship Him with their whole lives.
I just wanted to remind you how good it is to invite others to speak into your life.
Throughout the creation story, in Genesis 1, the words ‘…God saw that it was good’ are repeated again and again. The light that separated day from night was good, and the sky was good, and the land sea was good and the vegetation and the animals and the sun and moon and stars were good.
Chapter 2 gives us a little more insight into the creation of mankind. And for the first time, we hear God say that something isn’t good. Genesis 2:18, ‘It is not good for man to be alone.’ And so, God created Eve, to compliment Adam.
This story has a lot to do with marriage. But I also think there is a principle about community and belonging. It’s not good for people to be alone. It’s not good for people to live in isolation, or to be lonely, to not have companionship and team mates in the journey of life.
Recently, I’ve so valued the input, wisdom and experience of other people. Some have been strangers, other friends, others close friends. But each of them, in their own way, have pointed me to Jesus and broadened my perspective. We need each other.
So, share a little. Open up a little. Be honest and vulnerable a little. Invite wisdom and truth and friendship.
Tons of love,
