Chloe and Stuart Glassborow talk about The Kenyan Children’s Project

Christ Church – Chloe & StuartMonday 30th October 7pm for 7.45pm

When Chloe and Stuart Glassborow went to Kenya in 2001, they helped raise funds for 50 fresh water boreholes, which provided clean water for many thousands of people.

Now, some 70+ trips later, their remarkable charity ‘The Kenyan Children’s Project’ works with the most destitute children in Kakamega region, Western Kenya, to transform their lives and bring hope. The charity provides shelter, healthcare, education, poverty aid and therapy for many hundreds of vulnerable children, widows and families.

More recent initiatives include sustainable farming, micro business start-ups, building a community transformation village, and treatment (and shoes!) for thousands of people suffering from the debilitating foot disease Tungiasis.

Many of you will remember Chloe Glassborow (née Sylvester), as a former Christ Church member and head girl of St Clement Danes school. She first trained as a personal fitness trainer and is married to Stuart, a vet. The couple divide their lives between Kenya and London, where they are founding pastors of the ‘Catch the Fire London’ church congregation in Wembley.

Come and hear Chloe and Stuart’s inspirational story of Christian faith in action and enjoy a glass of wine and a few nibbles, at a special evening organised by Christ Church, on Monday, 30 October from 7pm. Do bring your friends!

Chloe and Stuart Glassborow’s talk will begin promptly at 7.45pm on Monday 30th October at Christ Church.

Doors open at 7pm for drinks and nibbles.

The event is free, but please help the catering team by booking your places in advance on 01923 282149 or email office@cccw.org.uk
