IMPACT Youth this week (16th – 22nd of October)

jamieWonder what we’re all about?

Impact Youth Ministry exist to share the way of Jesus with our friends and family, to show them His love and to grow passionate followers of God who seek to worship Him with their whole lives.

Dear friends,

At REAL Life, on a Sunday morning, we’ve been trying to put together a vision for ourselves of how we can keep growing in our relationship with Jesus throughout our lives. We’ve come up with 7 practices and over the next few weeks we’ll look over them in the blog. These practices seem simple but if they remain anchored in our lives then Jesus too will remain anchored.

2. WORSHIP
Therefore, I urge your brothers and sisters, in view of Gods mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is your true and proper worship. (Romans 12:1)

Sing to the LORD, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvellous deeds among all peoples. For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the LORD made the heavens. (1 Chronicles 16: 21-26).

Worship is a time where we sing to God and declare his glory, all that he is and all that he’s done. Worship is also that personal decision to live in a way that we know makes God pleased, and to do it because we love him.

Each day, in so many situations we are presented with the choice, to worship or not? Worship in both of these can bring amazing times of closeness to Jesus, but we have to make the choice to worship him.

Take care,

Simon
