A new week, a new staff letter, this time on the theme of expectancy!
I’m not going to chirp on about New Year’s resolutions for too long, as I’m sure we’re all trying to push that behind us now, as we glance at the pile of biscuit crumbs in front of us! But for that reason exactly, I opted for a Bible verse resolution instead:
‘See I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland’ Isaiah 43:19
2016 has been and gone. Whether we think it was a great year or a rather bleak one, it’s time to put it behind us and look forward to all the great things God’s going to do in our lives this year and how He is going to use us.
In the Bible, time after time after time we see God fulfilling his promises, and healing the sick, raising the dead to life and bringing hope to the hopeless.
‘And we know that for those who love God, all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose’ Romans 8:28
What an encouragement this is! Applying this to our own lives, we are reminded of the hope that we have in Jesus and that He will fulfil His promises to us in His own perfect timing, and remain with us through it all!
Peace to you all,
