18-30 (the clue is in the name!) is Christ Church’s 18-30s (students & young adults) ministry which aims to provide ‘a home for those without a home’ elsewhere in the church, and a supportive community in which to explore and address some of the specific challenges and issues faced by those in the 18-30something age bracket, together in friendship, fellowship, prayer and Bible study… and always with food!
We want to offer a safe place for developing authentic relationships, and also to craft a firm foundation for launching into the adventure of whole-life discipleship as we work out what it means to follow Jesus’ example and become more like him in whatever our day-to-day situations are. All that we do as 18-30 is framed by the context of the wider church family, and we get stuck in with serving in and ministering at a range of the church’s activities.
We meet every Monday evening, and most of us go to the 7pm Sunday service – come and join us near the front of church where we generally sit together on the left hand side, and then we’ll take you for a drink at the pub after the service!
